In 2017, the BFB Foundation asked if I would be willing to travel to Guatemala to document the girls and women the foundation supports. I didn't think twice before saying YES! I spent a week in Guatemala documenting the villages, schools, and daily lives of these girls and what life might be like for them without an education. I was struck by the extremes I witnessed: Extreme poverty paired with the stunning scenery; the overwhelming hardships but also joy. BFB is doing amazing work and changing lives, and I am proud to present these images from Guatemala to share their mission with you.
